Jane is a highly regarded teacher of young voices and those pursuing a vocal career. She has had over 20 years experience in coaching singers both privately and in institutions.
She is currently vocal tutor at Imperial College, London and Laine Theatre Arts. She formerly taught at Brunel University, Chelsea Academy, Tiffin Girls’ School and a handful of schools across London. Her pedagogy training has included the Voices Foundation, National Youth Choirs of Great Britain and Classical Voice Training.
Masterclasses & Workshops
More frequently Jane has been travelling abroad to give masterclasses and workshops to singers. She has specifically been working on singing in English as a foreign language.
Adjudicator
Jane is a popular vocal and choral adjudicator for the British and International Federation of Festivals. She is a vibrant and dynamic adjudicator encouraging the amateur music music movement across the country and abroad. Jane is also a vocal examiner for the Music Teachers Board.
Jane conducts the New Malden Voices and the New Malden Youth Choir in South London. She often gives choral workshops to schools and choirs.
